Job Summary
Windsor Fashion is currently looking for a temporary Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6 to 9 month assignment to the Windsor accounting and finance team. This individual will need to be able to thrive in a team environment and consistently provides great customer service. Duties are primarily related to manual processing of invoices through the Company’s Great Plains system.
Accounts Payable- Responsibilities:
- Manual processing of invoices, reconcile vendor statements, overseeing check runs, and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain and process all incoming mail and assist vendors
- Follow up with vendors via phone, email, in person
- Check vendor files for previous payments and assign voucher numbers
- Vendor statement, Factor reconciliation
- Assisting with historical report
- Provide other clerical support to AP related projects and tasks, as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Experience in high volume Accounts Payable department with heavy ten key / data entry
- Comprehensive computer skills, MS Office with strong Excel skills. Working knowledge or previous experience with Great Plains or similar preferred
- Strong organizational skills, time management and focus on quality and accuracy
- Must be detailed oriented and ability to multi-task
- Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, flexible work environment
